Mt. Pleasant Cemetery

Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Sitting atop Queen Anne Hill in Seattle is the peaceful resting place of many of Seattle's pioneer families. Our towering evergreens, gently sloping terrain, and expert staff offer the peace of mind you want and the respect your loved ones deserve.

We offer interment and monuments. Also on our grounds are niches for cremation remains. Please contact us for particulars. See our contact page for ways to contact us.

As one of the oldest cemeteries in the Puget Sound region, Mt. Pleasant (since 1895) is home to one of the largest varieties of mature trees of any cemetery on the west coast. Their silent majesty lends our forty acres a sense of calm permanence. To ensure that permanence, we are an Endowment Care cemetery, which means a portion of our fees is set aside for continuing care of the cemetery.

Despite our age, we still have a great number of choice sites available for your loved one. We offer one of the largest choices of monuments among Seattle area cemeteries. Our niches for cremation remains are professionally designed with plenty of space for your tribute to your loved one.
